ABOUT N’ERA

n'Era was founded in 2016 in Ukraine, with the core mission of bringing Ukrainian contemporary dance to the global stage. After the outbreak of the war, n'Era found a new home in The Hague, Netherlands, where it continues to fulfill its mission under the leadership of Vladyslav Detiuchenko and Veronika Rakitina.
n'Era Dance Productions is a platform dedicated to supporting and promoting Ukrainian contemporary dance and art. Based in the Netherlands, we create performances that explore universal themes such as solidarity, resilience, peace, and human connection.
Through movement, we strive to foster cultural dialogue and inspire change - using dance as a powerful universal language that unites people and amplifies voices that must be heard.
By engaging with international audiences, we aim to contribute to the creation of a more inclusive and compassionate society, where dance becomes a catalyst for reflection, inspiration, and hope.

  • Stichting n'Era is dedicated to supporting and promoting Ukrainian contemporary dance and art. Our dance works are created with the goal of conveying global themes such as solidarity, peace, hope, and human relationships, through pieces that become a universal language for spreading these messages. We aim to provide Ukrainian contemporary dancers and artists with a platform for selt-expression and international recognition, strengthening the significance of Ukrainian art on the global stage.

    • Support for Ukrainian culture and contemporary dance: Promote Ukrainian culture and develop Ukrainian contemporary dance on the international stage, providing a platform for Ukrainian artists to express themselves

    • Increase awareness across the Netherlands and Europe that the war in Ukraine is still ongoing by presenting productions that amplity Ukrainian modern artists voices.

    • Build a bridge between Ukrainian and Dutch contemporary dance artists through collaborations and cultural exchange

    • Reminder of key values through art: Create artistic works that inspire solidarity, peace, and humanity.

    • Organization of educational dance programs.

  • Doelstelling: Stichting n'ERA zet zich in voor de ondersteuning fn promotie van hedendaagse dans en kunst in Oekraïne. Danswerken zijn gemaakt met als doel wereldwijde thema's zoals solidariteit, vrede, hoop en menselijk relaties over te brengen, door middel van stukken die een universele taal vormen voor het verspreiden van deze boodschappen. We streven ernaar om hedendaagse Oekraïense dansers en kunstenaars een platform te bieden voor zelfexpressie en internationale erkenning, en zo de betekenis van Oekraïense kunst op het wereldtoneel te versterken en te behoeden voor vernietiging door de voortdurende oorlog in Oekraïne.
